Causes of Tooth Sensitivity

They will also suggest switching out certain products like regular toothpaste for desensitizing toothpaste, which can help. Desensitizing toothpaste helps block the transmission of sensation from the surface of the tooth to the nerve. It usually takes a couple of washes with this toothpaste before it takes effect.
